I have never posted in the basketball forum and am not a Tennessee basketball fan but I do watch a lot of college basketball and stole money tonite by taking Vanderbilt (-3). However I am a Villanova fan and though we have more talent then you guys do we got thumped on the road last weekend @ Georgetown and I thought we were in trouble last night @ WVU but we prevailed... Tennessee just played a bad game. You guys aren't this bad. You are obviously a better home team then road because of your defensive intensity at home is much better. You guys are going to be 12-15 point dogs this weekend at Kentucky and you know what, I am going to take you guys. Good coaches make adjustments and your team will be ready to play. Now you may not win but I truly believe you guys will be competitive. Keep your head up you guys will be fine and have the potential to make a sweet 16 run.

This team isn't capable of beating Kentucky. It's the same old song and dance with this bunch. Wild, out of control basketball with a little And 1 street ball mixed in. It's just about sickening.

Yes I am a huge Tenn Football and I live in Philly and I hate the Big 10. I love the SEC and Peyton Manning and went to my 1st game last yr against Georgia. I will make it down for the spring game to.

well.. i guess if i was a nova fan, i'd have to find a football team somewhere to call my own.. so, thanks for being a fan....

I'm a Gator football fan, a UK basketball fan, a Saints football fan, a Lakers basketball fan.

See, I can play that game too.

Why do you need to pretend to be a UT football fan? Nova won the FCS national title in football this year.

Ha I live 10 minutes from Villanova and don't know any Villanova football fans, they are pretty irrelevant. College Football is pretty irrelevant. It is penn state or nobody and I hate the big 10 and argue sec vs. big 10 all the time.

I asked a question a couple of weeks ago if anybody really thought Tennessee was a top ten team (when they were ranked there) and was blasted and lambasted as an idiot who doesn't know anything about basketball and a bad Volunteer fan. How do y'all like the basketvols now?

If I had seen your post, I would've agreed with you or maybe "thanks" you. Ha. The only saving grace with this team being in the top 10 is that college basketball in general is down. That being said, I still never thought this team was a top 10 team. I don't know if they're a top 20-25 team to be honest.

I don't know how many people thought we were a top 10 team back then. If anyone really thought we were, then they weren't paying attention. At that point, we had the credentials and resume to be a top 10 team, but we weren't really a top 10 basketball team. Even now, I'd say we're 18-25.
