Looks interesting, I loved the movies. Starts Thursday at 10 on NBC. Anyone else gonna be watching?

i'm going to give it a shot even though i haven't watched a single preview for it. if it's along the line of the movies it might end up being good.

Based on the previews, I like really the premise - I will definitely DVR it.

Interesting first episode; I'm looking forward to seeing more. Has potential to be really good...or suck horribly.

I really loved the movies and was intrigued when I saw this was coming out. I liked the first episode a lot and am hopeful for the future but one gripe I have is Hannibal's accent. He's very hard to understand sometimes. I had to rewind it on a few occassions to see if I could make it out.

I also had some trouble understanding him at times.

Hopefully that changes going forward or the producers can somehow do a voice over if enough people complain...It's not a serious issue at this point after only1 episode but if it lasts a few seasons, it could become troublesome.

This is a show I expected to be horrendous with it being on NBC.

I have been pleasantly surprised so far, though. I think as long as they keep Hannibal as sort of a side character with the main focus being on Will, it will be very good. I really do think too much Hannibal would ruin it, though. So far, I feel like they've balanced it quite well. I've always found Will Graham to be a much more interesting character than Lector. The way he is written in the show is very unique.

It's on NBC. Keep watching it and enjoying it and then you're giong to suddenly find out it's cancelled because it didn't sustain 3 billion viewers on a weekly basis.

I thought this week's episode was really good. My biggest fear at this point is that they will forcibly rush the introduction, hunt, and capture of the KOTW (Killer Of The Week), with Hannibal being the only extended 'bad' character. There just aren't enough twisted, bad killers out there for multiple seasons of them being caught every single episode (not to mention the plausibility of those timelines). The season finale shouldn't be the only ones with episodal cliffhangers.

I just started watching this show on Hulu..I am digging it. I am also surprised at the level of violence/gore NBC is willing to show.

They have to go that route.

Cable shows are kicking the networks teeth in on a weekly basis.

True. I'm not against it..but I was surprised about the amount. The Walking Dead kinda of raised (or lowered) the bar on graphic violence on tv.

Just finished season 2. I don't have much doubt that this is the best drama on network TV. Cinematography, writing, and acting are all incredible.

And I never thought I would say this, but I honestly think Mikkelsen's Hannibal is just as good if not better than Anthony Hopkins.
