Hap and Leonard on Sundance.

Anyone watch the premier? Story looks interesting with some good characters.

The cast has some good people.

That said, I thought the acting was bad, the dialogue a disaster at times (maybe a result of the books it came from) and it appears to be a waste of a good story and cast.

Hopefully it will get better but they need better writers and directors.

I intend too watch it in just a little bit. I was hoping it would live up to all the commercials.

Just watched...although a little slow on character and sub plot uptake, it was a decent watch. A little humor with the right mix of dark. The end definitely was a surprise.

The show has earned a place on my dvr.

Half the cast has been killed off now, so with the introduction of new characters, if renewed, may freshen it up for ya.

Did anybody else finish the pilot season? I thought it was pretty good. The finale was so slow compared to the episodes prior, which is kind of a weird way to do things.

I noticed Angel's real name is Polyanna and Soldier hollers "Oh Hap and Leonard, come out and play." I am guessing the cast had been playing with Polyanna's name, and that Jimi Simpson improvised that line.

Watched the entire first season. We are hooked. I think they slowed it down too introduce new characters and tease the upcoming storyline, maybe.

We laffed at the "Come out and play" line.

It did make us both jump a little when that troglodyte female attacked from the back. Lol
