Back on July 4th, George Clooney held a fund raiser for Barry in Paris, France.

The Obama campaign was accused in 2008 of taking hundreds of millions from the near east by refusing to divulge (legally) the source of contributions of less that $200 each.

He said before the last election, Team Obama had events there. Both expatriates and UK citizens attended. The bundlers took the money all the same.

I actually was in Paris for Bastille Day in 2009. It was an amazing experience.

Anyway, you would be surprised about how many Americans live in Paris. There are a lot. I remember strolling around the streets of Paris one day and seeing a bumper sticker on a car that said "University of Tennessee Nursing School Alumni."
Also, my Parisian friends often called the 16th arrondissement of Paris "Little America."
