Kid was bad for two years, took his lumps, but he has grown and had an outstanding senior year. He has so much confidence now. Glad for him and all the Vols. Good grief, it was about time. It has been YEARs.

So much in the kicking game is mental, & it's clear CBJ & staff have brought confidence to Michael P. Congratulations, young man!

So proud, so happy for him. He deserved this moment. Our program deserved this. I said it's great to be a Tennessee Vol!!

He told Palardy that he would have the opportunity to win us a game this year. He prepared him really hard for that situation...you could tell!

Palardy has suffered a lot, but today all that was taken away.

So happy for him and his family. A true hero! (Yes, there were many heroes today dressed in Orange!)

If he didn't already have a bright future in the NFL with his kicking records already, this win is a huge step in the right direction.

This truly was vindication for Michael to have the opportunity to kick a game-winning field goal, particularly against a ranked opponent, and then come through in the clutch.

His punting and kickoffs were probably more important today. Carolina was backed up to start a lot of their drives.
