Last year, I told my 8th grade son that when his teacher asks the class what day it is, he should raise his hand and say, "It's Vladimir Lenin's birthday." It earned him a dirty look from his teacher, and quizzical looks from his classmates.

I don't think it's coincidence that April 22 was chosen as Earth Day.
