Hard to get us to 20 wins in my mind...

Remaining games: Green=should win, red=should lose, orange=could go either way. I count 9 losses, 5 wins, and 2 maybes. Convince me I'm wrong...

We only need 10 out of the next 16, I think 20 will happen this team just needs to be ready to play from start to finish they've already shown they are one of the best teams in the country when they come to play

I saw my 1st game in '63 and this team is the hardest to predict. There's no doubt the talent is there, but their desire or motivation comes and goes at will. Losing their national ranking didn't motivate them neither did losing their coach. We could be a 15th seed and still get to the Final Four or we could be a 2 seed and lose the first game. I wouldn't want to bet either way.

This team isn't trying to pull out hard games for their coach either. This should have been the year we are in the top 10 all year and make another good run.

As I have said in previous posts, I believe that 20 is the magic number. I see us needing a couple of wins in the SEC tournament to get an invite to the NCAA tournament. 18 or 19 wins heading in to the SEC tourney.
I sure wish we had those one point Oakland & Charlotte games back!!! Still, I think we squeak in to the tournament. If motivated and with the proper chemistry, we can make a run. If not, then we are one and done to San Diego State.
It is time for the freshman, Harris, to take the leadership role and get this team motivate and playing as a team.

If the imposter team that replaced the one that should have returned from Pitt continues to play, then we will not make the NCAA tourney or the NIT. If they find the team that was 7-0, and get them back we have a real shot at a Final Four.

This is the weirdest team I have ever seen. Bar none!

Keep in mind folks, we were projected to finish 3rd or 4th in the SEC East. Not sure why so many people have expectations that this team should be top 10. If we make the NCAA tournament as a 10 seed or higher (top 40 ranking) we will be in good shape. I do think that this is the type of team that could easily get hot and make a Final Four run!

Expectations should be high we have 3 quality out of conference wins. They only show up for the big games, when they play an OK team in conference i.e. Arkansas, they choke. Its a bunch of guys who don't have their mind in the right place. Bruce Pearl being out for 8 games shouldn't be that big of a deal but it is going to be. I'll be surprised if we go 500 in that stretch. I am just disappointed because they have the potential to be very good but they just can't execute properly.

We are the farthest thing from being one of the best teams in the country! When your getting your a*s handed to you almost everytime an unranked opponent comes to your home court. This is the worst defensive team we ve had in the pearl era, I believe this will be the first team in the pearl era to miss the ncaa tourney. Yea i know we ve beat 3 top 25 teams and yes two of those wins are better than any other team. But you cant find a team thats gonna make the tourney with 5 losses as bad as we ve got and not to mention the way those teams beat us. Im a diehard fan and no matter how bad we are i ll always be a fan, but this year our basketball program is pathetic from the top to bottom. Go Vols

Not only do I believe we can get 20 and get to the tourny and do some damage there, I don't know if what I believe and what others in the Nation believe will come true. I have no idea where this team is mentally. Until they get that fixed it is going to be a tough season. GO VOLS!!!

Talk is too much in-fighting between Harris and Hopson. If that is true, which I have no clue, someone better get a handle on it.
If it isn't true, it is apparent no one knows what the problem is or they would have fixed it.
Seems this team has some weird idea on how to play lesser teams.
I have never seen anything like this.

I personally do not see a game coming up anytime soon that would count as a 'probable' win.

Shame, real shame.

I think that this this Sat. SHOULD be a "probable" win but who knows with this team. Vandy isn't in the top 25 so maybe this is another disappointing loss at HOME. I remember when we protected our home court. What happened to that?
