I think you mean Coker. Foster is suspended for the 1st half.

Yeah Coker.

They did take Wardlow and Holbert completely off the depth chart. Coker isnt listed either. Ainge and Crompton are listed as co-starters.

I'm real excited about seeing Hardesty and Foster instead of Coker against Arkansas. NOT.

WHy would you throw Coker straight into the fire? Work him in over the course of this game, get him 10 carries or so, and increase against Vanderbilt.

On a sidebar, I noticed Morley is now listed as costarter with Ben Greene at SS and Wardlow isnt listed anywhere on the depth chart.

If Wardlow hadn't screwed up last weekend he probably would have been the starter.

Coker will do just fine in the first half. Then with him and Foster spliting the load in the second we'll be fine.

Just because they list Hardesty as starter doesn't mean Coker won't see alot of playing time. Coker will see as much as his knew will let him.

Coker isn't listed on the depth chart. I'm not sure if he plays at all. According to the depth chart he won't.

The Tennessean:

Confident in Coker: Fulmer said he doesn't have any doubts that tailback LaMarcus Coker will be able to play on Saturday.

Coker returned to practice ahead of schedule this week after suffering a sprained medial collateral ligament in the Alabama game. Montario Hardesty will start at tailback, but Coker is expected to be the first off the bench.

"He's had a great week of practice," Fulmer said. "We'll see in the game. The speed of the game is always different, but he hasn't missed a beat out here this week. He doesn't want to wear the (knee) brace, but he's going to wear the brace for a little while."

Look, I don't want us to be too hard on Hardesy. From what I here he still gets considerable swelling of the knee that he had surgery on last year. I surmise he can only run 10-15 snaps a game. He has impressed me with his ability to pick up the blitz on pass plays.

From what I read about Coker, the trainers and coaches want him to wear the knee brace for the upcoming game and he refuses. It (the brace) would decrease his elusiviness, which since he is not a large back would handicap his abilities.

Look for some gimmick formations like Lucus Taylor or Meachum in the backfield and no back sets with Crompton in the shotgun.

I think putting Meachem in the backfield would be idiotic. We've already lost too many playmakers.

He's already done this several times this year. Look at the replays. You think Doug Dickey was an idiot when he put the great WR Richmond Flowers at tailback when the team was depleted at that position. Also All-PRO WR Stanley Morgan played a whole season at tailback in the 70's for Tennessee. I'm not talking about ever play for Meach, Silly.
