Harris/Selby Dunkoff

Harris seems like he bleeds orange. Kinda reminds me of Corey Miller in football. Hopefully he will get in Shelbys ear.

If i were a young man with that kind of talent I would want to go to a school where I could be the man. If Selby goes to UK or Ku he is just another player in a line of players. If he goes to a Tennessee he can be "The Man". Look at the love Vol fans give to players like that.

Well in that case, I look forward to seeing Brandon Knight suit up for the Chattanooga Mocs next season.

I wish it worked that way.. where kids who were "locks" for the NBA went to lower level prestigious teams. But they get more exposure with teams like UK, KU, Duke, UNC. And they get a better shot at winning the National Championship, which also gets more exposure and possibly a higher draft pick = more money.

I'm not sure that is necessarily true. Tobias is no slouch so he and selby would both be "the man.". There's also the slight chance that Scotty wakes up and becomes the player we thought he could be. Selby would definitely be welcomed with open arms though. You are right about that.

Well, it didn't hurt Michael Beasley to be at a school where he didn't get a ton of exposure.

It didnt hurt Tyreke Evans and Derrick Rose when they went to Memphis, either. Or CDR for that matter.

Kids will go where they can be coached up.

Speaking of dunks? Anyone watching the Powerade Jam Fest, Selby is leading with a 70 in last round. He looks pretty good.

Wish Harris would've participated in the Dunk Competition. He missed the 2nd round of the 3 point competition, he was tied for 5th out of 8 in the 1st round.

Looks like Selby wins the Dunk Contest. Patrick Young looked powerful, he has signed with UF. He did the Gator chomp after his dunk and they booed him....they are in Ohio though.

--sorry i posted not realizing you had posted he won already...

Memphis was on national tv the whole time those guys were there. And all of the "coaching up" didn't do much good for Walls and Cousins in this years tournament.

We won't see another freshman duo like Wall and Cousins for a good while. Selby and Harris would certainly be formidable though.

I agree. Both were so physically advanced for their age. It was incredible. But Selby and Harris would mean just as much to Tennessee's program.
