The only reasons I can come up with for the libs doing this are..................

1. Re-election next year. I guess the libs will think we will have forgotten about this next year if they get it passed now.

On #1 above, sadly, they are quite right about a large chunk of the electorate forgetting all about it come next election.

Harry's latest plan is to get the bill passed early tommorrow morning.

I don't think he has the votes.

Nelson of Nebraska didn't get his amendment against goverenment funded abortion and a poll in his home state indicates 80% of the voting public oppose Obama care.

Voting deadline for this session is Christmas Eve, when asked by the media about the democrat self-imposed deadline, Nelso asked; "You talking about this Christmas or next Christmas?"

Without Nelson, Reid can't get around a filibuser.
Of course there are the credible threats reportedly made by Rahm Emanuel to Nelson.

Not many actually know what is even in the bill, since only a few who have been called to Harry's office to view it, I doubt any stayed there long enough to read over a thousand pages of double speak, even less that would even be capable of understanding what all it means in real life, legally.

Actually the whole thing is illegal since it's unconstitutional to begin with but who respects the US constituion any more.

One democrat strategist described the current scene this way; "It's like bank robbers, they are in the bank with their guns out, they can run out of the bank without the money and get away clean or they can stick around and get the money, then go through a gun fight trying to get away with the money."

I concur.

The good thing is that Reid is currently running third in Nevada polls vs two Republicans and is considered only slightly less vulnerable than Dodd about whom even Biden has said; "he's getting the crap beat out of him."

OK, that give us less than 24 hours to take out one demo senator. That would mean they don't have the 60 and as the weather currently is, they couldn't melt all that Snowe with a climate change blow torch by just after midnight tommorrow, they'll be lucky to get the runways cleared, hell I had to catch a train to get out of there in a similar situation, this ain't my first rodeo.

I'll post a reward of $5 to anyone taking out Al Franken!!

Some doodads in the current bill:

Neebrashka, Massoftwo****s and Verwont (don't know how conetewequit didn't get included) get preferential medicaid treatment, so even if you are the flamingnest of liberals, like LG for instance, and your state didn't also get extra democrat freebees, you should vote your senator out of office for not protecting your freebbe rights. :cray:

The bill still includes the CLASS ACT provision which has been described as a Bernie Madoff style ponzi scheme, a by partisan majority voted to strike it from the bill. (including 11 democrats.) :hmm:

It violates the policy of the long standing Hyde amendment by public payment for abortions. :no:

The bill breaks the pledge of Barry that no one who makes less than $250,000 would see their taxes increased. (Ok, show of hands, no one will say they ever really believed that BS will they????) :wacko:

This bill means massive tax increases for everyone, there is no way to get around that factoid. :snoring:

The bill slashes hundreds of billions from medicare which benefits the great generation who have funded it all their lives, two dimocracks (only two, sadly from a party that used to have some loyalty to american citizens) repeatedly voted to strike that amendment. :bad:
