Just wondering if anyone has been watching the Dukes of Hazzard on CMT as of late? I'm glad to see that its back on it was a good show

Its a great show......When I started watching it they took it off the air and I'm glad they brought it back on...I also own the 1st and 2nd seasons on DVD

They filmed that show in my wife's hometown. Believe it or not, the Boar's Nest and some of the car jump sites are still standing.

It&#39;s been years since I saw the place . . .. and it was just a vacant shack back then. It is pretty funny though to watch chase scenes in Hazard County and actually recognize some of the businesses and landmarks as they fly by.

I was born and raised in Griffin. Lived there except for college until 1996.

I now reside NE of Athens in Hartwell (Lake Hartwell).

I live in Macon, but I travel the entire state so I&#39;ve been to Hartwell many times. In fact, I&#39;ll be up your way next week. I&#39;m meeting some people to play golf at the new state park course outside Elberton.

The writing is SO much better in the first episodes. Not the crap that was served up later in the sereis&#39; run. And a lot less slapschtick. The General wasn&#39;t even on the screen for more than 3 minutes in last night&#39;s episode. That would have been tantamount to treason during late season2 or season 3.
