That this year's class came exclusively from the South East US? Nobody from further north than West Virginia, and nobody further West than Texas.

Players like Pearson, Sheriron Jones, John Kelly, Guarantano all came from northern or western states, and yet this year, we managed to reel in nobody from outside of SEC country (sans Virginia).

I wonder if the staff focused less on those areas and concentrated on the SEC territory, or if that was just coincidence. With this staff's northern ties (Stoops just coming from Penn State, Butch and Co. from Michigan...) it just made me wonder why the geographical disparity.

Just something I noticed. I am not going to knock this class at all, because whether the services ranked them high or not, they all still CHOSE to put on the power T and play for our great University and I am excited about every one of them.

GBO and Congrats to the staff on another solid year.

It's because they don't recruit nationally

We had to give Larry Scott the OC position to keep his recruiting ability in house. Then we pull the worst class of Butch Jones era. Hell, even Florida pulled past us & their class is awful.

Are you serious?

That's just laughable.

Way to go Butch.

That isn't true; all of the outside commits from earlier classes prove that. It's likely just a random coincidence.

I live in Washington DC, and Tennessee's on national TV all the time. Last season Tennessee was in the CBS 3:30 game for 4 straight weeks, and there was also the 8 pm Battle at Bristol. Tennessee football gets plenty of national exposure.

But hey at least we barley out recruited ultra powerhouses Maryland and South Carolina.

Has anyone noticed Clemson won the National Championship and only finished one spot ahead of us in 247 Composite?!
