make the cheapest hire possible while making it look like we tried to get a big time coach? I mean the rumors of Hart not even talking to Strong and that Cheek did, is really telling...I am not a conspiracy theorist, nor did I even want CSS, but for Strong to turn us down to stay at UL after speculation that he had made it known he was very interested in the job seems suspicious....also, why has Butch Davis not even been contacted? He was cleared of any wrongdoing at UNC.....it points to Cheek controlling this with the money....I know they released the 18mil but it could be a ruse to hire cheap and pay it back....I would hate to think that and I am probably way off base but it seems plausible....

IMO...the coaches turning us down is starting to look like a get out of a lie card if Hart talks to Smart or another coordinator who has never been a head coach.....
