Which college football programs were the most-watched in 2022?or Fl State been invited into the SEC? I cannot believe either school brings much in TV eyeballs, Clemson caught lightning in a bottle with QB’s Watson & Lawrence but since then not much. Can’t see Sankey needing either one.
Mizzou is the one that sticks out the most . I agree that those other teams should be in the SWC or Big 12, but I can see them fitting in. Arkansas has been in the league for 30 years, so I’m pretty well used to that.I would rather have had FSU join than any of the expansion teams. For me TAMU, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas & Oklahoma will always be SWAC teams.

After the first expansion we played Arkansas yearly from 1992-2002 which was fine. Then another schedule change and we've played just 5 times since 2002. Every expansion moves us further away from playing the "real" SEC teams.
I would rather have had a SEC-SWAC/B12 challenge series to play those teams.
It's the infrequence of play that expansion brings I don't like. I want to see more Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU and even Miss State.
The only reason I don’t want a North Carolina school to join is that I don’t feel like they’re worthy of the SEC football prestige. They’re such fans of convenience when it comes to football. They think they get it, but they have no idea the mindset of 24/7 365 football. Some do, but the vast majority are checked out by the time the Maui Invitational or whatever preseason basketball tournament starts.I think I’d rather have Va Tech and a North Carolina school join if expansion was going to happen. I don’t think Clemson or Fl State brings anything that isn’t already here.
