I wish he would stay but he is gone. Be crazy for him not to be. I would vote him to play QB if he stayed lol

Don't see it. If half of rumors are true about his grades the man up stairs would have to send a genius angel tutor to help.

I don't think anyone has confirmation on his grades. Those aren't exactly public records. I would wait until the required deadline. Man I hope he stays. The dude is a beast.

I'm tired of the speculation based on his grades. Looking at other verifiable factors, his draft stock now is probably as good as its going to get. I see our team being worse next year, atleast offensively. He would be smart to head out now.

I think people on here are very wrong about his draft stock. He needs to improve his route running skills. I do not see an NFL team drafting him in the first round when he hasn't shown he can run good WR routes. They will not waste a first round pick on a punt returner/ project wide out. If he comes back and improves his WR skills, he would then be a legit first rounder.

Someone traded up to pick Tebow in the 1st round.

Stranger things have happened than taking someone in the first round due to potential.

The grades thing is pure speculation. He would have declared already if it were grades.

I think he would be smart to go. He would be a first round pick and a higher pick than Hunter or Bray.

On the flip side, he played HS ball with Worley, I think the tandem would be even better than Bray/Patterson. They have a comfort level and he helped Worley get Gatorade Plyer of the year. If he stayed and didnt get injured he would immediately be on all the first team all american ballots and a heisman candidate.

I wouldn't take him in the first round as a GM. What I saw from him was a super talented athlete that physically dominated others at the college level, but his route running and playbook understanding was the worst I have ever seen in my life, college or pro.

It is not true that his draft stock cannot go any higher. If his academic problems are real and not another internet myth then he will go without much question. But there's really no reason for him not to have declared by now if it was really that simple. He knows what his grades are. He knows whether he wants to play another year at UT or not. By now, he has his draft projection in hand.

I suspect he goes but am mystified that he hasn't already said so if there's no indecision.

You have to remember, Josh McDaniels made that Tebow call... so I wouldn't put much stock in it.

I agree. He is not a RB. There is no guarantee he will ever develop WR skills. He is worth a pick deeper in the draft though even if he just becomes a ST's guy.

I personally think that Hunter will drop to the late 2nd or 3rd round though many have him projected earlier. When GM's start reviewing film from this past year, they're going to notice that he become much less productive against better teams and dropped lots of passes.
