EPA Gives Millions In Foreign Handouts | Judicial Watch

The cash was issued via 65 foreign grants that don’t
even include Canada and Mexico, according to a report
issued this week by the House Energy and Commerce
Committee. Among the enraging foreign handouts are
$1.2 million for the United Nations to promote clean
fuels, $718,000 to help China comply with two initiatives
and $700,000 for Thailand to recover methane gas at
pig farms.

An additional $150,000 went to help the International
Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) combat fraud
in carbon trading and $15,000 to Indonesia’s “Breathe
Easy, Jakarta” publicity campaign. This sort of federal
spending does not reflect the priorities of the American
people, according to a letter that several lawmakers
sent Jackson in the report’s aftermath.

Since being appointed EPA Administrator, Jackson has
gone on a manic spending spree to bring “environmental
justice” to low-income and minority communities. Under
the program, dozens of leftwing groups have received
millions of taxpayer dollars to help poor and indigenous
people increase recycling, reduce carbon emissions
through “weatherization,” participate in “green jobs”
training and avoid heat stroke.

The EPA's budget has also surged 34% since Jackson
took over to a whopping $10.3 billion.

Holder qualifies.

You could make a case for Holder, he's definately taller.

Rep Issa called his 'fast and furious' program;
"FELONY STUPID!"

Still though, surely even he wouldn't propose to
tax cow farts. :loco:

It's past time to cut the legs out from under the EPA.

stress_reduction_kit.jpg

A friend of mine's mother bought some property in
Florida many years ago.

When she retired she meant to either sell her
investment of build a home there and retire.

Her property was on an inland canal and had
greatly increased in value because of some
hurricanes in the ninties had made seaside
property less valuable and made her's more
desirable.

When she retired and went to look at her lot
she found that it had a sign posted that it was
now prime habitat for the endangered Florida
Scrup Jay. (not that they are really endangered,
they are just on the list like a lot of others that
don't belong anyway like wolves in Wyoming.)

She found out that according to the EPA she
couldn't build a house on her property nor could
she even sell it unless she sold it to some fool who
would always guarantee that they would always
maintian it as habitat for the Florida Scrub Jay.

That is blatently unconstitutional for a governmental
agency to effectively sieze control of property without
compensation.

I assure everyone that isn't some issolated case..

I have to disagree with you Carter for once, the
EPA doesn't need to have it's legs cut off, it needs
to be cut in two at the waist and if not totally
disolved, made to serve the people and not the
large corporations to which it gives free passes
right and left while it treat the individual citizen
like some peon without a voice at all.

I'm willing to believe global warming exists, but I'm also willing to accept the idea of it being debunked.

She has served her role and done everything she believed in doing long before she got the job. I know you think greenhouse emissions are a farce regardless of whether it's proven or not, but there are people doing far worse jobs with similar amounts of power.

Anybody who takes issue with the people at the EPA doing what's described in the mission statement need to reconsider things for a minute...

If you don't like the EPA, write your representative and tell them to vote to defund it. Do this before you open your gaddahm trap about it.

I remember back in the good ole days, before a Republican president created the EPA. Back when Lake Erie was on fire.
