Has this ever happened in any baseball game before?

What’s amazing is he’s like 5’10” 165 lbs. and he hit those to the opposite field. Incredible feat!

It has happened thirteen times in major-league history, first by Tony Lazzeri in 1936. Tony Cloninger, a pitcher for the Braves in 1966, is the only non-position player to accomplish it and, if memory serves me correctly, he did it in back-to-back at bats. Additionally, Cloninger "is the only player who never hit a grand slam before or after his milestone game " See List of Major League Baseball single-game grand slam leaders - Wikipedia.

It's interesting. Growing up in Clarksville...the baseball team was the Cardinals...w Braves a fairly distant 2nd even though the local radio station carried Braves games. College football was Vols....but a lot of Bama fans. Pro football was Cowboys I guess. College basketball was Kentucky I think...w Austin Peay getting alot of interest and love due to the Fly Williams era I guess. Fans in Clarksville were all over the place cuz of its geographical location.

I attended APSU off and on 1990-1994.
The Guvs were a great team to watch in the Dunn Center. They were always competitive. I thought our crowd was pretty raucous.
I never had a bad time watching APSU Basketball.
I never noticed very many UK bandwagon basketball fans there.
Just saying I don't remember it. My first wife's ex-husband and son were big UK fans, but they lived in KY.
I also worked for Clarksville-Montgomery County Schools 2006-09.

I have nothing but disdain for VolCats. Lots of Memphis folks do the same with their basketball team.

Fort Campbell being right there has a hand in having fans for many different teams.
