Alexander is slipping down the scale imo, he voted against Kagan after being one of only nine republicans who voted for Sotomayor. I would have liked to have had a senator who would have filibustered against Kagan.
Both Alexander and Corker could either have singlehandedly killed the 'pedophile protection act' but didn't.
The republican party certainly needs some leadership in Tennessee, hopefully Ramsey can continue to carry the banner for a while at least.
Just an FYI... I tried clicking on your carter thread and you apparently have a site linked in one of your posts there to a site with malware... or it's one of OE's pornographic pics
Thanks!!! Not on purpose I assure you.
That's probably why I'm having a hard time today.
How do you detect the malware and can you tell which site is producing it???
I suspect it is probably someone who is trying to supress Humberto Montova, he really writes some good stuff on the Cuban topic.
What do you think of Carter and his support of assorted ne'er do wells the world over?
I've seen a few McWherter commercials here in Chattanooga and I am quite intrigued by him. Plus I don't really like Haslam very much.
Well his dad seemed to be a fairly good governor.
I am aquainted with people from all over the political spectrum, one friend is a nephew of a former democrat governor, (one of the best governors the state of Tennessee ever had) and it's impossible to even talk to him about what some republican has to say.
"I'd vote for a yellow dog before I'd vote for a Republican," end of converstation, his dad was far more open minded.
There's just something about Haslam, I can't seem to generate any trust in him.
His affiliation with Bloomberg's 'mayors against illegal guns' runs up a red flag for one thing.
Let me give you the straight of it, according to an 1840s ruling by the Tennessee Supreme court, it is legal (without any special license) to carry a firearm in this state anywhere you want, as long as you are NOT trying to 'create mayhem.'
