The reason is quit simple they get on a roll and win a lot of games and think they got the divison in control.

NEWS FLASH they dont they may have like a 12 game lead but the BRAVES are on an even bigger roll they just cant seem to lose and chippper is playin better than ever, watch out METS FANS just because u win for a while does not mean you got the division dont forget 14 in a row(years that is) is a lot bigger that like wat being in first almost all year i think it will come to an end that fans will not forget watch out mets its not over its the BRAVES!

not to mention the Mets have playes like the worst two teams in baseball recently, the Pirates and the Cubs.

i like your adam dunn avatar i guess you like guys who hit .200 and can only hit the long ball thats cool by the way the braves took 3 of 4 games from the reds before the all star break so go ahead jump on the ????REDS??? banwagon they dont have a shot with a bullpen worst than the braves YO!

oh by the way nice trade for the reds:they just made the NATIONALS better and the Braves need another great .200 hitter to face and i bet all the NL Central is shaking after the reds got GARY MAJEWSKI to help that sucky bullpen

yeah considerin ive liked the reds for freekin ever. um and someones is leadin the wild card and the reds bullpen is too better than the braves.

This year the NL West and the NL Wild Card ought to just give up their playoff spots to AL teams. They don't deserve them.

wow did you do your research because i didnt but its true unless you can prove that fact wrong i was watching the braves/reds game before the all star break and they showed the stats the reds bullpend ERA is higher than the Braves so im just sayin what i saw, but i do like the fact that your a real REDS fan i actually used to like ken griffey jr. and i had his reds jersey but then i opened my eyes and saw the Braves and ive never went to another team since then a true fan stays with one team not sayin you dont so i have nothing against you being a reds fan............congradulations!

actually thinkin about it id say they are about even in the bull pen after the trade for guardado and the other two guys. before that the reds bull pen was much worse.

ok i get wat your sayin but i was talkin bout before the eddie trade i like eddie they are better now that guy can bring it but i think the braves will make some moves before the deadline becuz smoltz is starten to complain

The Mets are 55-37. The Braves are 44-49. If the Mets go 35-35 the rest of the way (that's possible: 13-14 over the last 27), they will finish 90-72. For the Braves to finish 90-72, they would have to go 46-23 the rest of the way. Needless to say, if the Mets play above .500 over their last 70 games, the Braves will have NO chance at winning the division. So, keep hoping for the Mets to collapse. The Braves are on a great roll right now, but if they ever stumble the slightest bit, they'll get buried again. Congratulations on 14 straight division titles. :bow: That will never be duplicated. But, that streak is over. :hi:

ok ok ok i get what your saying bout the braves stumbling but it aint gonna happen the mets need to find a 5th starter or should i say a 3rd 4th and 5th pedro and tom glavine cant carry the load the rest the way oh yeah steve what ever his name is aint helpin i like seein washed up jose lima and orland hernandez try to carry the load but the braves kill tom glavine and pedro is to stupid to carry the pressure as we saw a few years ago in boston you will probly come up with somethin like what about the braves pitching but dont for forget the two managers ??????willie randolph?????? and BOBBY COX yeah the managers actually do make a difference :

By the way I went to the Braves and Mets series earlier this year in Atlanta and both teams played well against each other but the Braves were better. And I alson got so sit with some Mets fans and they sucked really bad and got on my nerves so the Braves also have more and better fans.

Junior has only been with the Reds since 2000...You state that you were not a Braves fan until sometime after Griffey joined the Reds. So, you have been a Braves fan for at most 6 years, yet you were saying something earlier about a 'bandwagon?'

Truth be told, I have Wright, Beltran, Lo Duca, and Glavine on my various fantasy teams. So I'm always for them.

No the first Braves game i went to was when i was like 5 it was against the Reds before Griffey played for them and the reds were always my second team but the braves were my first and the bravs lost real bad in that game so i decided to become a reds fan at age 5 but i changed real quick the only reason i had the griffey jersey was because i kindof liked the Reds and I always liked the way Griffey played the game.

Pedro helped Boston win its first world series in 86 years. In two starts against the Braves this year, Glavine has an ERA of 0.60 and a WHIP of 0.67. The Mets definitely need to add a starter for the playoff run though. As for the 8 position players, the Mets are superior to the Braves at almost every position. The Mets also have a better bullpen. That's why the Braves are so far behind. Cox certainly has a lot more experience than Randolph, but Randolph has a lot more weapons at his disposal this year. I got tix to the series in Atlanta next week. I'm looking forward to seeing the inside of Turner Field. It should be an exciting series, with the Mets hopefully making the Braves appear even smaller in their rear-view mirror.

ok but i still said that managers do make a diff you said that willie randolph has more weapons but who bobby is a better manager and i think it will come down a little to who is manager

You also said that the mets are better at the eight position players but thats no true, C-Mets-Paul LoDuca-Braves-Brian McCann, LoDuca is a great catcher but McCann is better, better average, better power, and more rbi's and he has been hurt some this year.1B-I wont lie Calros is a great player and better than Laroche but Adam is in a hot streak and Carlos is having an off season with a low average.2b-Who the heck plays 2nd for the Mets anyway Im sure Marcus Giles is better than though and with Wilson Betimit learning to play 2nd that just brings another big bat in the lineup for the Braves.SS-Mets have a great young one in Reyes who is a better leadoff guy than Giles but overall Edgar Renteria is having a better season offensivley than Reyes who is having a great season.3b-Hands down David Wright but Chipper is hott right now and hes a leader so i would take Chipper over Wright to finish the season but i am a Braves fan.OF-Braves have got a better defensive outfeild which produces a lot of RBI's (Francouer, and Andruw Jones) and with newcomer Scott Thorman who hits for power now playin left I like the outfeild, but I will admit Beltran is a great hitter and feilder and Xavier Nady bring pretty good contact, Cliff Floyd, well i hate cliff floyed after what he did in the series i went to earlier this year and that guy can bring some serious defense but i like the Braves better overall in the OF i mean how could you say no to Andruw Jones.

hey you must have took that statement wrong thats not what i meant the Braves have always been my team, I had my whole room in Braves at age 2, so that makes 14 years, wow waya know 14 in a row in my book im a good luck charm to the Braves i have so much Braves stuff its crazy i have a Braves jersey fo revery day of the week, hey just because i like ken Griffey Jr doesnt mean i dont like the Braves that just shows I respect great players, and if chipper were to be traded to like the ???????Marlins????????? or somethin i would still like the Braves but i would like chipper also :hi:

Bravevol is the biggest Braves fan around and for you to call him a bandwagoner is kind of funny, he hates people who joins bandwagons this guy is a huge fan and so is like our whole school so shut up
