I gotta agree.

Kitchen fits with a 4 to 5,000 sq ft home in the 600 to 900,000 range.

maybe that is a lower level kitchen for the in laws suite?

That's kind of where I was going. I know it's big, but the exterior and the rooms just don't look as "grand" as I would expect for the $5M range. The article even acts surprised it has an elevator.

I guess the wild card is the acreage. Property value in that area may be $$$.

Just think about this: I saw that PM makes about $30 million a year including all income. That is more than 6 times the value if his house. He can pay off his house in cash with less than 2 paychecks.

Its a nice house.. but he sure could afford to hire a decorator. Those rugs are especially atrocious =(
