SEC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Chris Lofton, Tennessee

In the two games, Lofton averaged 32.0 points on 16-of-22 shooting from 3-point range to go with 6.5 rebounds.
Lofton recorded a career-high 31 points on 7-of-10 shooting from 3-point range in leading the Vols to a 75-67 win at Kentucky. It is just UT's fourth win in 31 trips to play UK in Rupp Arena.
He had his second career-high in as many games with 33 points at Georgia on 9-of-12 3-point shooting in leading UT to an 83-78 win. Lofton's nine 3-pointers at Georgia set a UT single-game record.

Lofton has been perfect for Bruce Pearl's system and isn't getting enough national recognition. If he keeps this up, he'll probably be the SEC player of the year and be a second-team All-American. "
