Have You Ever Met Your Favorite Band?

I won VIP Tickets to see The Avett Brothers in Charleston on Thursday and I'm beyond excited. They've been my favorite band since freshman year of college and this will be the first time I've met them.

Has anyone here met their favorite band/bands before? If so, how was it?

I have a couple of times. Dave mustaine of Megadeth. The guy takes the time to sign every autograph after every show next to the busses.

I was dirt poor and couldn't afford a ticket to USA vs El Salvador in SLC. I would have gone with my bro-in-law who, when at the game, got bumped to a private box because of his connections. He was in the same box as Rivers Cuomo from Weezer. Weezer has been in my top 3 favorite bands since I was 13. Still pretty bummed about it.
