There was no way Chaney was going to be held over through three different coaching regimes. He was good last year, a little to pass happy the year before, and will go somewhere like Mizzou or back to the NFL and have success.

I haven't seen or heard anything about bringing coach John Chavis back either. Lot of talk about bringing Tee back and I hope he comes.

Chavis bleeds orange and if he can work for Miles at LSU, surely he can work with Jones at UT.

Chavis would not come back.

Pretty certain that CBJ's Oline coach has been with him for a while. Pittmans is a great coach and person. But Jone's needs people who know how to teach the particular zone read schemes they will be using. Not saying Pittman can't do it, but you can't erase a proven history.
Same goes for OC. Much different scheme. Chaney is a very pro-style with complex playbook and formations. Our offensive players will not have to be in the system
Bray would love it, because it is far less study. Three years in and Bray still wasn't able to audible on his own.

How dare you muddy this board with factual information. LOL
