9 teams VS 9 teams
each game can be one of the OOC games
Being the MWC will have one more them than the Big East, New Mexico can sit it out.

In some ways, I'm disappointed that Utah, TCU, and BYU are all moving on. A conference with Boise St, TCU, Utah, BYU, Fresno St, Nevada, and Air Force is absolutely worthy of an automatic bid, and I would actually follow what happened in that conference.

I'd be shocked if that happened. Beginning in 2012, the football WAC is:

Idaho
Louisiana Tech
New Mexico State
San Jose State
Utah State

Why in the world would UTEP/Tulsa/Rice/etc. even consider jumping ship to be in that "conference"?
