Nice. Still think Tennessee would be wise to cut their losses by canning Raleigh.

2008 27-29
2009 26-29

He'll probably win about the same next year. 25-30 wins. I am generally optimistic when it comes to cheering for my favorite teams but I look at Raleigh's history and I don't have much faith in him.

I don't know what to think. It seems like Delmonico would have seasons like these, but then come back and have a couple of really good years. How long should Raleigh be given to right the ship? I think maybe 2 more years.

Delmonico was 699-396 in 18 seasons.

Yes, I know he was successful. But you cannot deny that he laid some stinkers in there, too. Here are the SEC records for his last 6 years (all I could find):

2002: 12-18
2003: 13-17
2004: 14-16
2005: 18-11
2006: 11-18
2007: 13-15

You see what I mean? He had some bad years, but put up some decent ones (and a really good one) in the middle.
Anyway, the point is that I don't know if 2 years is enough time to completely evaluate a coach.

IMO, raleigh is running the same as he did before tennessee. He finished a few games above .500 at western carolina and now is a few games below in a harder league.

I believe baseball can be more prominant at UT, but wins will produce followers, wish they could at least make the SEC Tourney.
