Again, good luck to him. He could have had the same thing here. If he was all he says he is, he could have come on board and done the same things he's claiming he can do at Auburn. And as a receiver wouldn't you want to go to a school where the OC is a proven QB man that has developed some of the top passers in the league? If you want good stats you need a good QB. If you want a good QB you need a good coach. Follow the logic Tim.

I agree CSD, but I think the theme in the statements that a lot of these guys we are missing are making is that they want to go somewhere where they think they have the best chance to win championships. Obviously, there is not a lot of belief that UT will do that among these blue chippers. Fulmer is going to have to win big with what he has got now ASAP if we are going to restore the faith.

I just think that there is this stain on UT right now with the previous season and the lawsuit issues. I'd love to be a fly on the wall at some of these in-home visits from other schools. I'd seriously love to know if there is trash-talking and some creative story-telling about UT out there.

hell UT is like a soap opera. fulmer is just not able to turn kids who saw how poorly we played at home last year.

He has a excellent chance to start at Auburn they lost 3 out of their top 4 WR's and he would have been the 4th at best here....so could you blame him for choosing AU

Hawthorne is a good kid....he is all about his team and not himself...I don't know where someone heard he was a prima donna

That was from another thread from a guy that had studied film from one of Hawthorns game. He said if the ball wasn't thrown to him then he just stood there and would not block. I can't remember the original thread but that was the jist of the observation.
