HC Jim Chaney?

What do you guys think of Chaney? Any chance he could get a shot at head coach? It seems like if we got a decent defensive coordinator (never thought I'd miss 3rd and Chavis) and our offense still had Chaney at the helm we'd be a formidable team again.

Also, I'd like to recognize the nice job he has done this year. Even though its been a very bad year for us, our offense has been as good as I can ever remember it being.

I would love for Jim Chaney to be our interim head coach after today's episode. If somebody doesnt do something, we will be irrelevant for years to come like Colorado.

HELL NO!

On a play-calling scale of 1-10, Dooley's a -1 and Chaney might be a +1....

If he's so good, why didn't we win some of those games we should've won and those we lost where the offense had a chance to win it in the end?

Uh, No. But I have always believed he was a very good OC, back to when Kiffen brought him in. Not sure he stays if Dooley goes.

Here's an absolutely crazy idea: Let's hire someone who has been successful as a HC at other schools and who (now this is where I may lose some of you guys) other high level schools would actually be interested in hiring.

STFU about the Cutcliffes and the Chaneys and (heard this suggestion on the radio right before the game today) Dale Joneses of the world. I want a legitimate head coach this time around.

I dont see how that is Chaney's fault? Unless you are talking about plays he called? Every game we have lost is because a linebackers coach is failing to coordinate a defense.

i dont know why anyone would want to coach at tennessee if they could coach at a high level program.

IMO, as is the norm,one coach will be held over to keep the recruits in the corral. All others will depart along w/ CDD and the new guy [hope it is Patterson] will bring his guys with him. This is the way it seems to always be done at every major school making a change.
