Not sure if this is the right place, since there is no technology forum. Here it goes anyways.
I'm pretty sure my HD TV is fried. And by fried, I mean lightning ran in on it. I came home yesterday after the big storm, and no power at all to it (everything else is fine). No, I didn't have it plugged in to a surge protector (almost everything else is). Yes, I realize that was dumb of me, but I thought "what are the chances", etc etc.
Two questions:
1. If it did get zapped, am I just SOL? Not fixable?
2. If it is fixable, can anybody recommend a good repair place around Knoxville? Or is it not even worth the cost, and I should just go ahead and buy a new TV?
Alright, technically that's 3 questions.
