In playing ability and he has about 10 inches of height on him as well.

Love that he does not yell at refs. I may be able to watch a game at home where we seem to be getting most of the calls!

Moore and James are nice recruits to be able to point to. That is a connection to some guys who should be in the NBA that Bruce did not have when he first got here.

I am excited to have a man who has battled through much greater adversity than the Vols will go through and come out as a success on the other side!

Did Hat and MHF agree on a coaching hire?

Let me look outside to see if the world just exploded.

Did you have a 5' 2" stepdad who whipped the crap out of you every week or something? Your obsession with guys' height is weird.

The three best posters on the bball board IMO SIAP SHB.

I'm honored. Not going to lie. It's getting dusty in here :cray:. I'm going Coach Martin on this announcement (for people who watched his MVC Coach of the Year Press Conference).

Our twin!!! I love telling people outside of East Tennessee where I live and people look at me like "Why did you make up a city where you're from?"

I imagine lots of guys have done that. I guess the beatings from the shorter folk were just more humiliating.

Emain since my return you have commented on every single thing I have posted.

While I did not post for months you and hat continued to speak about me.

Hat has gone so far as to take down his preseason predictions which were laughably bad.

Who is obsessed?

Btw maymon is not fat or lazy. So I was right and hat was wrong.

I think we should all be one family now at least until you guys come up with a reason the sec sucks.

I am not a high school recruit. A mini man who couldn't make a high school team would seem to have a credibility disadvantage to a guy who developed his game at a bcs team and then played in the NBA.

Again with this personalized demonization of...what? average-sized people? Frank isn't just a short guy, he's "a mini man," a midget, an evil little dwarf. You act like it's a personal and ethical failing of the guy because he's under six feet. Given your generally weird and overbearing moralism, though, it's totally unsurprising.

Whatever man. You must have lots of experience around high school bball recruits.

Lawrence Frank is closer in size to Spud Webb than Avery Johnson. He is smaller than Nate Robinson. Oh and more importantly? All 3 of those guys were ballers.

Frank could not make his high school team, but he did play for the Jewish Community Center...I am not making that up. It sounds like a mean joke, but it is part of his bio.

If you do not think that it is an advantage that CCM (hahahaha just realized that is the same as pop Christian music) will benefit from being able to look Hopson in the eye without Hopson sitting down, I do not know what to tell you. Young high school kids in person will be impressed by
1. Martin being from East Saint Louis. He has overcome a tough background and can relate to the situation many of the best basketball players are growing up in.
2. Martin's playing career which was marked by adversity and growth from a guy who could not hit a 3 pointer and who never got to play to a major contributor with Glen Robinson who came close to making a final 4 and then an NBA career.
3. The fact that he looks like the baller that he was.

High school kids can be cruel. I do not despise glass eyes, but if Martin got hit in the eye with a juggs machine like Stuart Scott, it would make it more difficult for him to recruit.
