Well this will be my last post until after the weekend. I am finally done with work for the weekend and am about to head on down to T-Town. This weekend promises to be one of the most fun in a long time. Right when I get down to Tuscaloosa I plan on grabbing a handle of whiskey and gettin down to business. I'll probably head to the old Theta Chi house to see Chris Knight play (if you've never heard of him, he's really good, you should check him out), then head to Gallette's for the after party. By the way, for you Vol fans headed to T-Town, Gallette's is the place to be. It's where you'll find the best bands, most fights, and drunkest people...it's the best bar in Tuscaloosa. Tomorrow morning I'll wake up, still drunk, for Gameday at 9 sharp. I hear they'll be talking a good bit about the Bama game so I don't wanna miss that. I'll take a shower, get my Bama gear on, and continue drowning myself in whiskey. I'll head on over to the DKE house to see some buddies because that's what I did before the UF game and we won, so I must do it again. From there I'll walk on over to my buddy's house on Bryant drive to tailgate. Free bbq, free keg, and one of the best spots in the town to tailgate. We'll have the radio blasting with Eli and the Snake's pre-game, watch everybody drive and walk up and down Bryant, it's a great spot. We'll of course quickly put the CD player on Rammer Jammer when we see any UT fans walking by, it's only fitting. I'll hang out in the den and watch one of the four tv's they have set up in the room, all tuned to football. Then I'll enjoy a Bama Bomb right before I walk to the stadium. Bama Bombs are simply cherries soaked in pure grain alcohol, they ferment for several months and then are enjoyed on each gameday. I'm not going to lie to you, they taste like pure gasoline, but I ate one before the UF game and we won so I must eat another. They are ridiculously alcoholic. From there, I'll walk to the stadium yelling "ROLL TIDE" at everyone who yells it at me. I'll get into the game early to see the Crimson Tradition video on the Jumbotron, the video has been altered a little now to include Prothro's "The Catch" against USM so I really want to see that. Fans will file in more and more as game time approaches, then the Alabama Football Legacy video will start....everyone will fall silent and stare up at the screen...videos of all TWELVE of our NC's, Teague will strip the ball away from Lamar Thomas and the whole crowd will go wild!!! The elephant will blare over the PA, stomping and screeching, and then Cornelius "Biscuit" Bennett will bring out the game ball. Condoleeza Rice will flip the game coin and then it will be on. By then the stadium will be tearing at the seams and the Vols better be ready to play or they will be eaten alive. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I have talked a lot of smack, in good fun, over the last 2 weeks. But in all honesty, I think the game will be pretty close but I think the Tide will pull it out in the end. I really love this rivalry, there's just something different about it. I hope all Vol fans that come to T-Town have a fun weekend and enjoy themselves...but I hope you leave disappointed. Have a good weekend and ROLL TIDE ROLL!!! :yahoo:
