-How odd that our only conference losses have come at the hands of west division opponents.
-Offensive rebounding
I know that there is not a thing to be done about it until coach Pearl gets some more recruits in here, and I'm proud of the huge success this season, but it sure can be hard sometimes to watch other teams rebounding the ball so far above our heads that our guys seemingly don't stand a chance at the ball.
-defensive rebounding
Appears to me that if we aren't able to force the opponent to take a long outside shot,
thereby creating a long rebound, then we are pretty much in the same boat as offensive rebounding.
-I'm proud of how personally the guys seemed to take the Arky loss in their postgame comments. This team doesn't accept anything less than maximum effort.
-With Kentucky on Wednesday, it is comforting to know that this team has not had back to back lackluster performances all season.
-Looking at the conf. tourney. I believe our Friday opponent is the winner of a West4 vs. East5 game. Current standings would seem to indicate that the East team(GA or SC) would likely get through. I don't cherish the thought of playing either of those again, let alone in the first game of the tourney.
-Really looking forward to a huge crowd for Kentucky.
And the return of the Orange Blazer!
GO VOLS!!!
