Alright folks looking to get some new ones and I really haven't keep up with the new tech. Any thoughts on your favorites. I've read a lot reviews but after awhile it all starts running together. Not the most tech savvy so I put more stock in real world reviews over the standard hype

Depends on what you want them for and also what qualities are important to you. Can’t go wrong with Beats IMO.

Mainly for movies and music. Something that gives you that big sweeping sound with clarity. Kinda like a surround sound system. Most get distorted now with the movie soundtracks so something tbat can handle that

I prefer the sound of Bose over Beats any day. Especially it’s for movies.

Beats are overpriced. I have some Sennheisers for music/recording and Bose Soundsport wireless buds for running/exercise. Nothing but highest recommendations for both.

Long been a fan of Sennheiser - never too bright. Beats are tuned for too much low end for me.
