Wow man. Call me a walking talking country music song because after last nights game, I got that feeling in my stomach like when your dog dies or your girlfriend leaves you. Sort of over reacting because it's just a game and there are more serious problems in the world but I really felt like someone kicked me in the stomach over and over and over and over. I don't even feel like watching anymore games or following the NCAA tournament now. Sucks! And it also signals that time of the year when we don't have any football or basketball. :banghead2::banghead2::banghead2::banghead2:

Sports have the ability to take you on incredible highs and incredible lows. That is why I love it but I would prefer more highs.

That's interesting you point that out because it reminded me of this girl I use to know who's husband was a BIG TIME Kentucky basketball fan. He use to stress over games so bad that he ended up having a stroke and heart problems. I've never heard of anyone taking this stuff to heart so bad that it messes up your heart lol. His cure? To STOP watching basketball for the rest of his life. He's a big time golf fan now and hasn't seen a UK or basketball game in almost 9 years.

The loss sucked.

But it's been a joy watching this team, and we get to continue that.

I coaches a game this morning that almost gave me a heart attack lol.. It's a single elimination tourney, and we were up one point shooting free throws.. We miss the second and one of my guys gets called for over the back literally the last second of the game.. Other team shoots a one and one and misses.. It was rowdy to say the least..

hahaha it sounds like it. Exciting game. Those are the kinds of games that you smile about on your way home. How old was the team you were coaching? My 11 year old nephew has a game today at 3 and those always make me feel better getting to watch him play.

I guess thats why coaches pull all their players out of the lane in this situation!

Yea im on the same page as the OP... I went from borderline obsessing over College Basketball, to just wishing this year would end so i can be excited about next year.

I was worse last night. A little time has given me a chance to reflect and just be proud of what this team did against the odds. disappointed we arn't going to the big dance, but I'm proud to be a fan of Cuonzo Martin and The University of Tennessee Men's Basketball Team.

Yep. I went into last night before the game thinking to myself, atleast we get to watch them for 2 more games atleast. Some teams are done for the year. I think we are lucky. Hopefully this team doesn't mail it in like some of our football teams have after having nothing left to play for. Here's to hoping we are NIT champs and end up the year ranked.
