Hard to believe that he's a Democrat. He just doesn't strike me as fitting the criteria.

 I know. I know.

I'm not trying to start a debate here. His party affiliation just surprised me that's all. I'd bet that there aren't that many ex-NFL top 10 draft picks voting Democrat these days.

I'm in shock. I knew Shuler would enter into politics someday, but him running on a Democratic ticket floors me.

Yeah! I didn't know they had Democrats East of Chattanooga. A Democrat's chances up there would be pretty slim I would think, even if he was a Vol hero. Those guys up there like their representatives very Lamarish and very Bakerish. It's a long standing tradition. I think it's been around longer than Vol football. ;)

The guy he's running against has served 8 terms (16 years). And won his last election with 55% of the vote. Shuler doesn't have a prayer.

You gotta be kidding me! :shakehead: :snoring: I'll be surprised if he carries more than 20% of the vote. :dunno:

Yeah, but according to bama fans....the only way he'll get elected is if CPF runs the campaign and rats out another politician.... :dlol:
