Hefney

I know we are all sad about Inky's injury, but am I the only one that is excited to see Hefney back at the corner? I really thought that he was on his way to being a star at cornerback. Don't get me wrong, he's been really solid at safety, but I think he's a better CB.

He was really hitting his stride at the end of 2004, but we had to move him to safety with Jason Allen going back to CB. I think Morley will be very good, and this actually makes our secondary better talent-wise if you ask me. Depth is certainly a problem, but hopefully some young guys step up well.

Only problem with Hefney going to corner is that he has got bigger, and has gained about 20 lbs so he good lay a lick at safety. Im not sure if the weight will make a difference on his speed or not... Hopefully not. But I am looking forward to seeing D-MO and the rest of the secondary

I like D-Mo..don't get me wrong. But, I am VERY worried about him tonight. He is going to have a lot of emotion tonight..he has to control it, use his speed, and stay smart. I expect him to be a great Vol in the future and I hope that he stands up tonight...but I am concerned.

I am sure most people are concerned. I am somewhat, but I think he is going to be a big time player, and he will not let those emotions effect him. The good thing is he has played in both games so far. So at least he is not going into this game blind.

You're right about the playing time. Man, I just about flew out of my seat at the Cal game when he ran Lynch down from behind late in the game. I loved that!

D-Mo is ready. I talked to him a couple of times before this season started, and he's confident that he can play anywhere in the secondary with the best in the nation. I think tonight will be the night D-Mo proves he truely was the No. 1 CB in the Class of 2005.

he's gonna get burned tonight. meyer will zero in on that weakness and exploit it. that's why it's gonna be so important that we get pressure on leak early and often because if he has time to throw, game over.

I haven't seen much to make me call Morley a "baller" at this point. He needs to step it up tonight and not have any of the blown coverages he had in the Air Force game.
