It's hard to imagine an injured player getting an invite much less winning it. My main point, though, is that Hooker plays for UT not Bama or Ohio State. That being the case, there's not a snowballs chance in hell that he'd win the heisman. If Manning couldn't win it with the year he had, Hooker sure as hell won't.

Yea your probaly unfortunately right I just don’t think anyone has met more to their team and their success than him this season to Tennesseee. We are a 7-5 or 6-6 team without him.

All in all, Hooker had a chance to win the Heisman even if he missed Vanderbilt game.
The UGA game was his opportunity to win the Heisman. Unfortunately, as a team we were overwhelmed and so was Hooker. The score was not indicative of how bad we were outmatched and the 23/33/195/0TD/1INT. Hooker definitely deserves an invite.
I wonder what Caleb Williams will have painted on his fingernails for the award show???

Was the Ohio State game indicative of how bad they were outmatched losing by 22 at home. What about LSU losing to us by 27 at home. If a loss can hurt you why can’t a big win counter? No it only matters who it is that losses. The year Ohio St got curb whipped 55-24 by a unranked Iowa team Herb and some media were still pandering for them to make the playoff. GBO
