I can't believe how open they're being about all the scandals and allegations that have happened in the past year.

They've mentioned Reggie's award being vacated and him losing his right to vote.
They've talked about the allegations around Newton and how it might have impacted the vote
They've announced that Cecil Newton has decided not to attend. So much for staying away to stay out of the spotlight.

I wish they'd use the ceremony to highlight the on-the-field achievements of the finalists and then use Sportscenter to analyze all the other crap.
