Reggie Bush put his name on it in the Notre Dame game, and locked it up against Fresno State.

I'd say it's two-horse race between Bush and Young, and Bush probably has it. He's averaging almost 9 yards a carry, has proven that he can carry his team when needed (see Fresno State), and has the "big play" potential we all love (see 8 games with a long run of 34 yards or more).

Deangelo Williams??? :eek:lol: Yeah, he sure looked good against us.

This brings up an interesting point I heard on PTI today. Do you suppose Bush's votes could be affected by the fact that USC games are broadcasted at such a late time on the East Coast?

I'd hope not... surely the voters at least look at the stats... 513 yards of offense is 513 yards whether it was 12 noon or 12am.

 Sounds like me and my boys when we talk about running backs... Barry Sanders always gets brought up.

"Boy, I remember one time Barry Sanders ran a counter 400 yards for 3 touchdowns all in one play. It was somethin' else."

Bush, just cause ESPN wants him to win it. I think Young has ment more to his team. If Bush has a bad day, white or Leinart can pick up the slack. Not that i am saying the Texas backfield is bad, just not as good at USCs. So young has to show up every day. Plus the fact he is in on EVERY play, if he breaks a 20 yard run, he doesn't go to the sidelines to catch his breath, he goes and calls the next play.
