From Phil...

"It's tough to lose two really good football players (Justin Harrell and Inky Johnson), leaders on our football team, for the year. We will wear three interlocked circles (on the helmet), with the team in the middle and their numbers, 29 and 92, on either side. It will basically represent the bond between each of us in the program.

I just noticed that the numbers are reversed on those two guys....

29 92

Kinda weird coincidence I think.

Oh well, time for some negativity. I am a Fulmerite and I think this a stupid idea. Will not make a difference in the win/loss column either way. But did these guys die or something? A little goofy if you ask me, so if we lose 2 or 3 more players for the year, they going to add more circles.

How am I a wet blanket? Because I don't want some sticker on our helmets for some injured players. Last I checked, every football team in existence has injured football players. Give it a break. Find something real to rally around. Put a sticker of the Georgia Dome on the helmets if they want something to rally around.

You mean like "Unfinished Buisness"......yeah, that really worked.

You're also missing the point.

It's not stickers on the helmets for two injured players, it's a sticker that shows the unity of the TEAM by having the interlocking circles. It shows a dedication to TEAM instead of SELF.

Don't remind me. That place is hell on earth
