Thought the <insert 3 Stooges theme here>, combined with using the word "smartass" was a final clue that I was making a back-handed rag on myself...

I mean, I had to assume that most people would automatically accept that I really am "natively and effortlessly beatific", and not realize I was merely demonstrating my near saintly capacity for humility. so I thought I was making an obvious gesture in the interests of greater human understanding....
