North Carolina is 14-14, Wake Forest is a mediocre 18-7.

Why is this game on CBS national coverage?

:hmm:

Because it's UNC

and that's about it (as far as the logic went....and yes they do suck this year)

Yeah, it was some BS. I live in the Raleigh area and WRAL's coverage of the UT vs UK was bumped for the UNC game right after Cousins tied the game with a dunk at about the 2:30 mark. I was so freaking pissed, especially because WRAL2 also was showing the UNC game.

WTF is the point of having WRAL2 if it is going to show the same programming?

The schedules are but what gets played on the air is up to the network on a weekly basis.

Actually what I think was meant is the TV schedules are created before the season starts. I think they pretty much cement in what games are on before they play one game. I don't think it's like football where they decide during the season; which has never made sense to me since you would think it would be a lot easier to do that in basketball as opposed to football.

I would even argue that there's no reason for CBS to show Kentucky vs. Indiana every year in December. Indiana has fallen into complete obscurity, and it really isn't much of a rivalry any more.

Happened to me as well and I'm not even in Raleigh...yet...but still, it has to be the most idiotic change of coverage I have seen...take off the number 2 team going down to show the worst in the ACC. Another reason to hate the tarholes.
