Help this man with his last wish !

It’s a cause that has crossed the boundaries of football rivalries. Matt said the donation that put them over the top came from a self-described Alabama fan, who commented, “Hard for me to say as a bama fan, but GO BIG ORANGE....hope your dad gets to see a victory."

Righteous.

According to the comments, UT Sports Office has also offered free tickets to the family. No brainer, but in this day and age, many big entities like UT are exhibiting a propensity to, indeed, have no brain. Glad our school, and our community, got this one right.

Prayers.

There is a gentleman who posted and offered them four tickets in his sky box.

What an emotional story.

No matter how old you get nothing beats going to a ball game with your dad. Luckily this family will get to do that at least once.

I want to thank everyone for making this campaign such a success! in just three days we have exceeded our goal by 548% and raised a total of $1,643! With all the offers of assistance outside of monetary donations we have way more than enough to finance my fathers last wish! Thank you all so much I cant wait to share photos and video of what's sure to be the most memorable day of my family's life's!

Hurts my heart to see this. I'm happy they've reached their goal but someone in the AD should get this man the VIP treatment.

God bless you man. I wish I had more memories of going to games with my dad. I was young and we didnt get to attend any games when I became an adult. My uncle actually died at a UT/ALA game from a heart attack. HE was a true vol fan.

I wish you the best Sir !!!

Losing my dad to cancer in 98 was the hardest, still is very hard, thing I've ever faced. I hope this man has the greatest time of his life. I will never forget being upset after the Fla loss in 97, and my dad said, "Let it go; they are liable to win 'em all next year." He wasn't around to see it, but he couldn't have been more right. Cancer is an evil disease that I don't wish on anyone.
