VOLNATION,
This weekend, I'm helping set up a bachleor party in Gatlinburg and will be driving from Cincinati (coming through knoxville on 75). I was hoping you guys would help me find out the best place to get a few kegs in either knoxville or gatlinburg (or anywhere in the area). I've heard that traffic is gonna be a real b!tch in gatlinburg, and I don't want to be driving around like an idiot looking for beer for a few hours. I'm sure there's some Vol tailgating heavyweight out there that knows the most convienant and cheapest place to get kegs either in knoxville or gatlinburg and can help me out. Thanks!

The Pilot on Cumberland Avenue always has reasonably priced kegs in stock.

As in Pilot, the gas station? I had no idea you could get kegs at a gas station.

Some Walmarts have kegs.

Wal-Mart !?!?! You've gotta be kidding me. I'm gonna make some calls to knoxville area wal-mart's. If you are right, I think I may just move down to TN next week!

Yes, the gas station. It's at the end of the Strip on campus. I shudder to think how many kegs I've purchased there.

Purchased or emptied? Or both?

Purchased, emptied, and returned for the tap deposit.

You're so responsible. :geek:

Speaking of Pilot, I, too, bought many kegs from there. I probably spent more time stopping there for a pee break than anything, though.

Or to buy a sixer after an OCI night.

Not responsible, just sane. We often used the deposit from Friday nights keg to help pay for Saturday's barrell.

You definitely can't walk away from the deposit on a college student's income. As a matter of fact you should worry about someone stealing it from you before you can return it. :D

Oh the number of times I've seen that happen. Get the keg man drunk, then wake up early (if possible) and run the keg back to collect on the spoils of war....friends vs. money....in college money talks.
