Saw this a few minutes ago. Not a big loss for the team but hope the guy can finish school and keep the weight off.

Interesting timing seeing as how Angel Garcia just made his first appearance back from the ACL injury this weekend. Makes it a little easier for them to let Niles go.

Angel only got in a few minutes. I don't think he is ready to take on considerable minutes. That being said, Coleman seems to be picking up his play. I think this means many more minutes for DJ Stephens.

Garcia is getting minutes to reward him for all the hard work getting back this year from injury. He is not, nor will be a contributor this year. He loses this year of eligibility anyway.

Niles has been, and is, a waste of a scholarship. Tigers would be better off giving that scholarship to a manager.

AG is also getting some PT so he doesn't go into next year having not played against D1 competition in 2 years. This year is somewhat of a wash and preparation for next season when the cavalry gets there.
