Don’t know if many of you know this because I just found out myself, but Hendon’s sister has a tik tok and she posts videos of her going to the games and you get an interesting look at games through the eyes of Hooker’s family.

I'm going to say this. I was fortunate to meet his Parents last year. It was the Tennessee Tech game and I will never forget that moment as I took my daughter to her first game. At the time she didnt really understand what was about to take place. She just knew everything and everyone was Orange. Which is typical for a 6 year old. So we hit the Vol Walk and little did I know we were right next to Hendon's parents. I happened to notice Hendon's mother was wearing a mom of shirt. I asked who her son was, she told me that her son was HH. We had great back and forth conversation, maybe even asked who had the best entrance us or VT. They loved Knoxville even if VT had the better entrance. That was HH first start. HH came over and gave his parents hugs. Before he left said go Vols to my kid and signed her Tshirt. Great family, great player and HH is a true role model. Just wanted to share. Oh and PS now she is excited for next week as she gets to return to Rocky Top with Dad.

Just trying to see if my memory is correct…..is HH the first Vol QB to win against FL and Bama in the same season since Tee? Or did Clausen or Ainge manage to pull it off? Not even the great Peyton made that club unfortunately

Clausen did it on the road in 2003, and I got to be there for both, with the band. Clausen directed us at the Swamp.
