You boys worried about ND yet? I can promise you Charlie won't sit on the ball like that underqualified Big 12 coach Miles at LSU. You'll be down 21 at half and 42 at the end of the game.

WE ARE ND!!!!

by the way, I'll be at the game. See you there.

Nice to see you jason. The group I went to the game with last year had a blast with some of you ND people that were down here last year. Ya'll had some classy fans to go out drinkin with after the game. Hope you are the same way. Tough game for me being catholic, I will probably not wear either team colors if I go again. That was freakin hilarious when your band played back to the future. What are they up to this year?

Head to the Linebacker Bar just off campus. It doesn't matter if you are an ND fan or not it is one of the best college bars I've been to. It was featured on Travel Channels best college bars.

You can't believe everything you hear...I read an article recently that says UT is the best tailgating school and one reason is b/c of all the banjo music---I've never heard a banjo on gameday on the strip!!!

yeah unbelivable aginst weak teams. Name a good team he has beaten yet? He hasnt played any teams with a decent defense and the way I see it he is this year kyle orton.

Leak, Russell, and hackney. Why should we be worried about Quinn? He is a good QB but "unbelievable" is a big stretch.

Should be interesting to see how this one plays out - but I think ND is more concerned with PU and USC than looking forward to what could be a meaningless game if both sides don't take care of business (UGA and BAMA aren't just going to lay down).

Not sure if I am ready to give BQ the "unbelievable" tag yet, but he's showing improvement.

Is it true the fighting irish football get together for a seven course irish dinner before every game?

He's beaten Michigan 2 years in a row and Tennessee. He is a good QB.

There are 4 games prior to the Vols visit to ND. Focus should be placed on Ole Miss.

I couldn't remember! Who was the QB last year? I'm trying not to relive that game!

I stand corrected, I thought he was hurt for some reason. He was 12-23 for 118....he hasn't seen a real defense yet this year and I think when he does you will see similar stats.

To say that Quinn was the winning QB last year against UT is like saying that Tom Arnold is famous for his comedy. Tom Arnold is famous for once being married to Rosanne and Quinn was the winning QB because of NDs defense. He just didnt do anything to lose the game for them. He DAMN SURE didnt beat UT. The ND defense did.

I agree, but I would say UT beat themselves as much as ND beat them.

With the exception of the RC INT, I dont think so. I give it up to NDs defense last year. We held the ND offense to only like 75 yards of total offense. UTs wasnt much better.

BUT, in no way did Quinn have anything to do with the win, other than he played mistake free football for 60 minutes.

Actually, ND had 216 yards of offense, while the Vols had 327 yards (269 yards passing). The Houston/Riggs combo rushed for 102 yards on 27 carries. The Vols lost 44 yards on 5 sacks, another 17 on 2 bad snaps, and 20 yards due to penalty.

Not only did Clausen's interception lead the game winning touchdown, the offense had 3 fumbles (all recovered by Tennessee). One of those was a snap over Clausen's head on the final possession that moved the ball back from the UT 27 to the UT 12. Back to back sacks after reaching the ND 37 ended the previous drive. And the drive before that ended on downs at the ND 34. The Vols scored a field goal on the drive before that (last drive of the 3rd quarter) from the ND 16. So while ND's defense was NOT stopping the Vols from marching down into ND territory, the Vols kept stopping themselves once they got close to scoring.

In the first half alone, Ainge had thrown for 149 yards on 11-of-18 passing and 1 TD. The Vols led 10-7 at the half.

Aside from the interception, Clausen was 10-of-18 for 120 yards in the 2nd half.
