I'm always glad to see the way CBJ handles his press conferences. He seems to be polite, informative, honest, doesn't throw players under the bus, doesn't talk down to the reporters even when they ask dumb questions and seems glad to be there. Ain't it great to have a coach who seems to have it together all around.

It's refreshing after listening to Derek Dumbass throwing players under the bus after every loss and never taking responsibility for His lack of Coaching.

While its easy to compare against Dooley - I like the fact that Butch is also not ALL ABOUT ME Kiffin. Its about the program.

Dooley started preparing his funny quips for the press conference as soon as we went down by a TD.

Lol ol ball coach sure sound like he threw the team under the bus a little there. Shaw "I don't know what happened to him" and when asked if Davis did good "he ran the wrong way a couple times but he did ok" he then looks at the stat sheet with a kind of surprised look "well he did have 140 yards but wish he would've done more" and their special teams "apparently they don't know how to play by the rules"

When asked about HIS timeout management he says three seconds wouldn't make a difference. When the guy says well you could've used them and had a lot more time left an he just says ehh well whatever basically.

I have to say after listening to CBJ's post game I am so glad to have him as our coach. He conducts himself in such a classy manor and I loved what he had to say. Watchin the two interviews back to back we're lucky to have the coach we have. I have been guilty of questioning a lot this season, but for the rest of the year I'm going to trust him and even when things get rough refrain from making comments that I'll regret.

It just goes to prove that it is much easier to have a classy team when you have a classy coach.

Have been glad Coach Jones is our coach since he was first introduced here, and each day only proves more and more that it was exactly the right move.

I can truly say there is not a coach anywhere in America that I had rather have. Not one even comes close. He appreciates Tennessee; Tennessee appreciates Coach Jones!

Go Vols!

Yep! When he was asked about that weird pitch play attempt by Rajon, he said it was a called pass play to the TE with a slight smile on his face. He could have said that Rajon made a mistake or temporarily lost his mind, but he didn't. Don't you know Rajon has to respect him for that and want to play hard for him.

This.
The door was wide open for him to make a fool out of Neal, but Butch didn't even consider it. That, folks, is class.
