For the first time, the show will include live updates by ESPN reporters from three key universities that figure prominently in this year’s recruiting stories: Wendi Nix from Tennessee, Joe Schad from Florida and Shelley Smith from USC. Additionally, ESPN College Football analysts Mark May and Kirk Herbstreit will join the show to provide their overall analysis of signing day. The final 30 minutes will recap the show and the top recruiting classes for 2010.

Here is the list of live announcements:

Ten recruits will announce their college commitments live during the National Signing Day show, including Owamagbe Odighizuwa, No. 17, ESPNU 150 (No. 2 defensive end – Portland, Ore.); Christian Jones, No. 27, ESPNU 150 (No. 2 outside linebacker – Oviedo, Fla.); Sean Parker, No. 49, ESPNU 150 (No. 5 safety – Harbor City, Calf.); and Chaz Green, No. 52 in ESPNU 150 (No. 4 offensive tackle – Tampa, Fla.), Christian Green, No. 53, ESPNU 150 (No. 9 athlete – Tampa, Fla.).

Also for those that dont get ESPNU then ESPN360.com – will simulcast the entire National Signing Day Show from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. the ESPN360.com player will feature live updates and be tagged within stream every time a player commits.

Who do we root for with the remaining unsigned? Florida? Maybe they will rack up 10 total 5 stars and join the NFL.

Strange to pretend like Chaz Green and Christian Jones did not consider us. We led for both at one point. Now we are just unlikely to get either.

I know MHF, I wonder IF we could have gotten Hiestand in last week, if it would have opened the door back up for Green. Guess we'll never know.
