I know this started as a joke reference to QB development but I'm not sure where you are getting that UT QBs get worse EVERY year.
Ainge wasn't as good in his second year as his first - hardly enough data points to draw such a sweeping conclusion. If he's better next year your theory is blown. Clausen stayed about the same. Tee was about the same both years. PM definitely got better from freshman to senior.
I would argue that Croyle got no better and may have even regressed - at least in throwing the long-ball (supposedly his strength). He missed so many open receivers both with overthrows and underthrows. Spencer got no better, Guillion was a flop, Watts was up and down as was Zow.
