UT would have won if we had of had time for one more play! Coulda kicked a FG to win it. Good comeback to tie it by the Vols.

I was a "poor" college student at the time and four of my friends and I went to the game without me telling my mom.

We end up sitting next to a group that made signs to try and get on TV. I spent every time out hiding my face hoping I would not be on TV.

Remember that game well we lucked in to a tie they were far the better team, they won the NC that year.

I will always remember that game,because of it I have a lot of Georgia Tech National Championship memorabilia. I have a lot of 1990 GT stuff and 1998 Tennessee stuff.

Hey that don't matter young buck this is some of the greatness you've never seen in your life time. This is what we are getting back to. I was just a little guy way back in 90. Take time watch this, it will give you great pride to know that our tradition runs deep and something that vandy never has and will never be.

I was a FR at UT that year. I was so jacked up for that game. The tie didn't bother me too much. The home opener against Pacific was a different story.

You are an idget. We had a badazz team that season. We had a 9-2-2 squad,if memory of a 10yo serves. We wouldve beaten Bama but for that last second block that rolled bsck and allowed them to win 9-6. We tied AU and BARELY lost to defrnding NC Notre Dame. A fun team to watch. Go Vols!

Tony Thompson was My favorite player on the 1990 Tennessee team. He had huge shoes to fill when Chuck Webb went down. He filled those shoes and led the SEC in rushing in 1990.

Not sure why that wasn't a safety just before the half. I had forgotten about that play.
